Purple/Pink Passionfruit (Lilikoi)

Origin: Purple Passionfruit is indigenous to parts of Argentina, Paraguay, and Brazil.

Flavor Profile: The Passionfruit is a pepo, a type of berry, round to oval, either yellow or dark purple at maturity, with a soft to firm, juicy interior filled with numerous seeds. This small pinkish-purple variety is sweet with a touch of sour. 

How To Eat: It's ripe/ready to eat when the shell becomes wrinkly all over! If you enjoy a more sour flavor you will want to open the fruit when the skin is smooth, but for a sweeter flavor open them when wrinkly. Passionfruit is both eaten and juiced; passion fruit juice is often added to other fruit juices to enhance aroma. Add passionfruit to your favorite smoothie or spread on top of some papaya for an ultimate combination!

The total weight of the box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:

- Small Box contains up to 3-5 lbs.
- Large Box contains up to 8-10 lbs.
- Extra Large Box contains up to 16-20 lbs.
- Bulk Box contains up to 34-40 lbs.

We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
