In general, when a fruit box you order is in season, we ask that you allow 1-2 weeks to receive your box as our harvests vary greatly from week to week and we fulfill orders on a first come first serve basis. The shipping method you choose at checkout accounts for the time your fruit is in transit AFTER it leaves our facility.
Caviar Lime (Finger Lime)
Origin: Citrus australasica, or caviar lime, is a thorny shrub or small tree of lowland subtropical rainforest and rainforest. Our finger limes are seeded, USDA certified, and are only available for a limited time.
Flavor Profile: The flavor is like a regular key lime and the texture is very similar to caviar. This would make an amazingly identical plant based alternative!
How To Eat: Caviar Limes arrive ripe and ready to eat! Finger limes also known as (vegan caviar limes) are a delightfully delicious treat that make a super satisfying pop when squeezed. We love eating the little “pearls” as is but they also taste amazing on top of other fruits like watermelon and papaya. Please be sure to refrigerate your finger limes upon arrival if you are not planning to consume them all right away.
First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.
The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:
- Tester Box contains 200 grams
- Small Box contains 400 grams
- Large Box contains 800 grams
We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. Because shipping, handling, and delivery are so expensive per package, the Large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
