|orange juice||1.5 fl oz||42 g||3 tablespoons|
|banana (frozen)||1.4 oz||40 g||2/3 medium banana|
|mango (frozen)||1.2 oz||34 g||1/4 medium mango|
|pineapple (frozen)||2.2 oz||62 g||just under 1/2 cup pineapple|
|maca powder||0.3 oz||8.5 g||1 and 1/2 teaspoons|
|honey||0.25 oz||7 g||1 teaspoon|
|carrots (peeled)||1.5 oz||43 g||1/2 large carrot|
|jalapeño||0.15 oz||4 g||1/4 jalapeño pepper|
|ginger (peeled)||0.1 oz||3 g||1/2 inch chunk|
|almond milk||2.5 fl oz||71 g||1/3 cup milk|
Peel carrots and ginger and remove the end nubs on the carrots.
Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender until desired consistency is reached (about 1 minute). Take care not to over-blend.
Peeling the carrots and ginger is not 100% necessary, but it does help give the flavor a lighter, refreshing taste.
If your blender has a tough time processing, add a little more liquid, either orange juice or almond milk.
