Refreshing Watermelon Lime Juice Recipe

This cold-pressed watermelon juice recipe infuses mint and lime to balance out the sweetness of the watermelon, making it a crushable favorite.

two glasses of watermelon juice surrounded by recipe ingredients

Servings:

1

Serving Size:

12 oz

Ingredients

watermelon (seedless)15 oz
lime0.2 oz
mint leaves0.1 oz

Directions

  1. Wash the produce thoroughly.

  2. Remove the watermelon rind and cut into cubes; weigh the produce. Cut the lime into fifths (leaving the skin on).

  3. If you have a juice press, place both the watermelon and the lime directly into the press. If you don’t have a juice press, peel the lime and juice both the watermelon and the lime with the rest of the ingredients.

  4. Grind remaining ingredients together and press.

Pro tips

  • Watermelon is a mushy fruit, so take care not to overfill the press to avoid overflow.

  • Add a little beet juice to brighten the color!

  • You can actually leave the watermelon skin on if you prefer (there are nutrients in the skin) but the juice will look less vibrant and will mellow the flavor a bit. If your watermelon is not that sweet, you will want to peel it.

  • If mint stems are tender and green, you can use them as well as the leaves!
