Citrus Carrot Juice with Ashwagandha and Passion Fruit

This bold, refreshing juice balances the flavor of ashwagandha with carrot, citrus, and passion fruit, for a tasty, stress-relieving elixir.

Ingredients

ashwagandha root extract0.1 oz
grapefruit (peeled)5.5 oz
orange (peeled)8.2 oz
carrot3.5 oz
passion fruit pulp0.5 oz
local honey0.8 oz

Directions

  1. Wash the produce and prep by peeling the grapefruit and orange, then weigh the ingredients.

  2. Grind the grapefruit, orange and carrot, then press.

  3. Add the honey and ashwagandha extract to the juice and mix.

  4. Add the passion fruit (with seeds for texture), and mix.

Pro tips

  • If you’re not keen on the seedy texture, just filter out the passion fruit seeds with a sieve.

  • Ashwagandha root liquid extract works the best for mixing into juices. We like this liquid extract. If all you have is a powder, whisk it into the juice until the clumps disappear. Powders work best in smoothies.
